Lieutenant Colonel Faith Sterling

An educator, a service woman, a donor: retired Lieutenant Colonel Faith Sterling spent most of her career teaching at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Nursing. Today, she’s making a difference at her alma mater, the IU School of Nursing on the IUPUI campus. Through the IU Foundation, she created a charitable gift annuity that supports scholarships at IUSON. “It’s a shame more people don’t know about CGAs,” says Faith, who will receive a fixed, guaranteed payout for the rest of her life.
